The NDP in Vernon-Monashee was represented by Mark Olsen at the last election. Olsen was shocked by the announcement of James' resignation Monday. ``I think everybody was taken aback by it,'' says Olsen. He says there are a couple of people who could emerge as the next leader. ``Two common names that I've heard, and I would respect either one of them, are Mike Farnsworth and Adrian Dix,'' says Olsen. ``Clearly they're two leaders within the party as it is right now and they're outspoken and well-spoken at the same time.'' Olsen says he's disappointed with both parties for all the in-fighting which is taking focus off the real issues.
