Vernon-Monashee MLA endorses Abbott
Vernon-Monashee MLA Eric Foster has thrown his support behind George Abbott's campaign to become the next premier. "George is a candidate who really understands the needs of our Interior communities," said Foster. "I'm pleased to support him as the right leader for the B.C. Liberal Party and the next premier of the province." Foster is the 11th Liberal MLA to back Abbott, who is also the MLA for Shuswap. “Eric has been an outstanding deputy whip for our party and a tireless advocate for the residents of Vernon-Monashee,” said Abbott.“I’m honoured that he has chosen to give me his support.” See more details in Wednesday's Morning Star.
