Coldstream Council is hoping to persuade fellow members on the Greater Vernon Advisory Committee to split into two separate groups. Councillor Doug Dirk says prior to the year 2-thousand the water and park functions were separate committees at Greater Vernon. Dirk says Coldstream councillors would feel more comfortable about the processes at G-V-A-C if more of them were involved. A meeting has been set for January 27th to discuss the issue. G-V-A-C Chair Wayne Lippert says he believes the current structure is working well but says he's willing to sit down with everybody to discuss the issue.
