The RCMP are warning Okanagan residents about an email scam that is circulating. Messages alleging they are from Revenue Canada are being sent out saying a recalculation of your taxes has revealed you get an added refund of $400. You are asked to fill out a tax form that has a link to gain personal and financial information. It says the refund could take 3 to 9 days to process. Revenue Canada has confirmed it has not sent out any e-mails of this nature, and points out this same scam was being run earlier this year as well.
