Vernon's mayor isn't  worried the province's move to online gambling, could have a negative  impact on the casino revenue the city receives. Wayne Lippert says he's discussed the issue with BC Lottery  officials.
Lippert says the two gaming outlets, are expected to have  different clientele. "They're feeling is that people gambling on the Intern et are not the  same ones necessarily that are going to the casinos, so they're not  expecting it to change any of the casino revenues."Proceeds from the local Lake City Casino outlet inject about 2  million dollars a year to city coffers for community projects.
