DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Lease deal with railway opens up parking
More parking has been secured for Vernon residents near the downtown core. The city has entered into a one-year lease agreement
with Kelowna Pacific Railway Ltd. for the 3 x 100 meters section of
railroad right-of-way adjacent to 29th Street between 32nd and 35th
avenues. That’s the area across from Little Tex restaurant north to the Powerhouse Theatre on the west side of the railway tracks. “There will be room for about 35 to 40 vehicles to
park, and the rate will be on a monthly basis,” said Brent Bandy, the
city’s real estate manager who negotiated the deal with KPR The agreement runs from June 15, 2012 to June 14, 2013. There is also paid parking for downtown workers available next to Bertelsen Plumbing. Parking passes are available at city hall. Free parking is available at the Vernon Civic Arena parking lot.
