An RCMP unit based in the Okanagan has received an award to highlight its efforts to combat drug activity. BC Civil Forfeiture says the RCMP's South East District Traffic Service has seized over 75 million dollars in cash, drugs, and property the last six years from traffic stops on area highways.The unit seized more contraband than any other policing agency within the province including 49 kilos of cocaine, 400,000 ecstacy tablets, and 219 illegal weapons.RCMP Superintendent Randy Kolibaba received the award on behalf of the 132 officers in his department.

Weapons: 219 Illegal Weapons ( Knives, Brass Knuckles, ..etc)

39 Long Rifles
1 Uzi Sub-Machine Gun
Property: 4 Houses, 12 Vehicles, 3 Motorcycles and one Trailer
