Teens Arrested For Trafficking in Coldstream

Police responded to a suspicious vehicle report in the 8700 block of Braeburn Place in the Middleton Mountain area Friday afternoon. The RCMP's Gord Molendyk says an officer noticed a strong  marijuana smell after stopping a pickup truck with three teens inside. "In the vehicle police located 14 bags of individually wrapped packages of cocaine, some MDMA (ecstasy), about 23 grams of marijuana, a small quantity of hash, two cell phones, scales, and other drug paraphernalia," says Molendyk. A 17 year old from Lumby, along with 15 and 16 year olds from Coldstream, are expected to face trafficking charges.
