council chambers this Friday from 9 to 11am to get the process underway. The elected reps have until the spring to finalize the document. City spokesperson Courtenay Pitcher says
the financial plan will be
posted on the city's website at least 24 hours before the meeting. Vernon council settled on a 1.7% tax hike in its 2012 budget.
