Trustees Refuse Pay Hike

Board chair Bill Turanski says the rules allow them an increase tied to the cost of living index. "We have felt that we would not take a raise if our employees did not have a raise, and niehter the teachers or CUPE staff have received a raise in the current year," Turanski told Kiss FM. Last year the board's pay freeze was based on the economic situation and the provinces net zero policy for public sector employees
