By Staff Writer - Vernon Morning Star Updated: June 20, 2013 12:04 PM A new steel pedestrian bridge was installed over Vernon Creek in Polson Park Thursday. The old wooden bridge was removed last fall due to its failing condition. “It’s anticipated the new bridge will quickly become a
favourite location for family and event photos,' said James Rice, public
works manager. The bridge was constructed by the city’s steel
fabricator, Ray Sengotta, and provides the only pedestrian access to the
Polson Park wishing well.
