Water service will be interrupted for Greater Vernon Water customers living at The Rise next Tuesday, Sept 24. The interruption is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to last up to 12 hours (8 p.m.) The interruption is necessary in order to make water line improvements.
The work will affect customers in the following areas:
Okanagan Hills Blvd
Vineyard Way
Harvest Ct
Cordon Pl
Balsam Ct
Silversage Pl (and all streets off of)
Water customers in the affected areas should take necessary measures to ensure they have enough water for household needs during the time of the interruption.
Fill water jugs the day before and ensure there is enough drinking water for yourself, your family and your animals.
Fill buckets for use in the bathroom and kitchen. Customers in the affected locations should also turn off their main water shut off valve and disconnect outdoor hoses until the water is restored.
