Janice BrownA new fire truck graces the Armstrong-Spallumcheen fire department , but it doesn't fit into the hall. Spall mayor Janice Brown says it's too long, and while they are having a study on a replacement the new truck needs a home for winter. Brown says "And because it's got water in the pumps we do need it enclosed so we approved 12 thousand dollars to put an extension on the back, it's like 8, 10 feet so that the truck can back in." The cost will be shared with the city, about 6 thousand dollars each. The addition will simply be walls and a roof, no power.
