Let’s brighten the Christmas season for the needy, homeless, lonely & hurting in our Community. Filled Backpacks will be gifted to the guest's who access the meals & programs provided by the Mission…. & You Can Help!
1.Individually, as a family or a group, purchase a new or gently used backpack
2.Fill the backpack by using ideas from the list below.
3. Clearly label the backpack for a man or a woman.
4. Drop off you filled backpack at the Upper Room Mission, Dec 20th @ 3403 27th Ave
Ideas of items to include: - Deodorant - Soap/body wash and Face Cloth - Toothbrush/tooth paste/dental floss - Comb/brush -Kleenex/tissues - Socks/toques/gloves - Razors/shaving cream - Shampoo and conditioner Optional - Hand Warmers - Pen & Pad/puzzle books - Gift cards - Bus tickets - Hot chocolate - Candy treats - Cough drops
