Lumby's mayor says he'll be standing for re-election this fall. Kevin Acton says he wants to go beyond what's been accomplished in the last 4 or 5 years. "The spray park, the cenotaph, new bridges, bridges that have been wiped-out and replaced quickly. The whole town just looks amazing." He says he wants to continue to improve the village. "There's still a few bigger projects I'd like to see through, and I am enjoying the work."
