Kin Park Grandstands Burn

The old wooden grandstands at Vernon's Kin Park have been destroyed in a fire. A full general alarm was sounded just before 11:30 last night but when crews arrived there was little they could do, it was already fully ablaze. By about three this morning they were able to declare it knocked down and leave a watch on the remains. There were no injuries. No cause is known as yet, but the stands were under an electrical lockdown due to problems.
