A lack of flu vaccine has led to a public flu clinic in Vernon being rescheduled. Interior Health says the clinics at the Schubert Centre on December 4 and January 8 have been rescheduled to January 15 from 9 am to 4 pm. The agency says it's due to the demand for the flu vaccine exceeding the current available supply. I-H says those eligible for the publicly funded vaccine may still be able to get the vaccine through physicians and pharmacies. "The public is advised to call vaccine providers ahead to ensure vaccine is available. Immunize BC's flu clinic locator (http://immunizebc.ca/clinics/flu) contains a comprehensive list of public clinics and community vaccine providers," says an IH news release.
