Jim Cotter's team from Vernon and Kelowna has won its second straight B.C. Men's Curling Championship. The Okanagan rink defeated Dean Joanisse of New Westminster 7-6 in the 11 end final at the Vernon Curling Club. Cotter drew to the four foot with his final stone for the win, his fifth provincial title. The skip made 95% of his 22 shots in the final game, while Joanisse was at 88 percent. The Cotter team, which includes new member Ryan Kuhn at third, along with Tyrel Griffith and Rick Sawatsky on the front end, will represent B.C. at the Tim Horton's Brier February 28 to March 8 in Calgary.
