Water Rates Calculators for April 1, 2015 billing.

On April 1, 2015 Water rates for Residential Customers will be increased by 2% on base fees and all water rate levels.  (If approved by RDNO Directors at next meeting). You won't get your first billing for these new rates until July of 2015.

Alt. Director Spiers Proposed a different rates structure that was voted down 5-3.  Basically to make the revenue projections required of $19,460,000 this proposal increased the Agricultural rates by 10%, (from 65.55/hectare/quarter to 72.11/hectare/quarterdecreased the base rate for Domestic and Commercial/institutional customers by 2% (from 99.80/quarter to 97.80 per quarter) and increased the commercial/institutional flat consumption rates by 20%. (From 1.50/m3 to 1.80/m3)

Coun.  Kiss proposed another method that was put over until the rates workshop in Apri/May that lowered the base rate for both residential and Commercial/Institutional customers and instituted a flat rate fee for all consumption over 10m3.
