The Regional District of North Okanagan-Greater Vernon Water (RDNO-GVW) provides a monthly water quality report summarizing water quality monitoring parameters such as: chlorine, bacterial, turbidity, and ultra violet transmissivity (UVT). Water quality is monitored weekly for the drinking water sources, irrigations sources (during irrigation season), treatment plants and distribution. There are four water sources for drinking water: Duteau Creek, Kalamalka Lake, Okanagan Lake (Outback and Delcliffe only) and Ranch Well #1 (seasonal source). There are four sources used for irrigation: Duteau Creek, Goose Lake, King Edward Lake and Ranch Well #2. There are three treatment plants: Duteau Creek Water Treatment Plant, Mission Hill Treatment Plant and the Outback Water Treatment Plant.
