A trio of people were sent to Vernon Jubilee hospital last night after another crash at the intersection of Bailey Road and Highway 97 south of Vernon. The RCMP say a black Honda Civic and red Mazda CX-9 were involved in a T-bone collision just before 6 pm. Acting Sgt. Richard McQueen says ambulances were despatched for all those involved. "There's three patients that were taken to hospital with injuries, none of them were life threatening as I understand now, but I haven't had an update from the hospital." Two elderly people were in the Mazda...a lone male was in the Honda. Sgt. McQueen says no one knows what happened. "They haven't determined what the cause of the accident was. Our traffic reconstructionists were called out and are currently investigating." The crash closed the highway in both directions for nearly two hours.
