Master Water Plan Stakeholder Advisory Committee – Call for Volunteers:

The SAC will consist of 14 people, all of whom will be selected by the GVAC through an application process that will allow a diverse cross-section of the GVW service area to participate. To ensure a transparent process, criteria has been developed and is provided in the SAC Terms of Reference to select committee members. Applicants must be a GVW customer and own property within the GVW service area. The GVAC will be seeking to fill the following representation on the SAC:
One (1) representative from GVAC will act as Chair of the SAC meetings;
Two (2) persons from the agricultural sector;
Two (2) persons from commercial, industrial, institutional and other non-domestic users;
Two (2) persons from non-domestic that provide service to sensitive customers (i.e. hospital);
One (1) person from major industrial;
Four (4) persons from the residential sector;
One (1) person from the developer class; and
One (1) representative from a local service group.
SAC members will be required to attend monthly meetings over a six month period; starting date will be the first meeting which is anticipated to be in September 2015.
