Greater Vernon Water is under Stage 1 Restrictions. Reservoir levels are used as one factor in determining restriction stage, along with weather forecasts and customer demand levels.

To avoid going to Stage 2 customers are encouraged to reduce water use by 10%. The easiest way to do so is to cut outdoor water waste. Most lawns, shrubs, and trees only need to be watered once a week.
