The City of Vernon and Okanagan Equestrian Society are talking again over the future of Kin Race Track. Ed Woolley with the Society says offers were made at a meeting Tuesday and will be discussed at the Society"s AGM on Saturday. "I think both sides have expressed that they'd like to get this thing over with. Neither side wants to do it the hard way, but they do want to get it over with. So we'll see where this goes." He won't reveal what was talked about until the AGM, but says it's a starting point. Woolley doesn't expect an early resolution. The Society has said in the past it would be open to moving, but only if a new site has a track funded by the local government.
