The civil trial over use of Kin Race Track in Vernon will need more time.Robyn Dalziel from Okanagan Equestrian Society after ten days of court time, the two sides will return to court in New Westminster for one or two days at the end of September. “They will finish up the last few things and then it will be three to six months for a decision I’ve heard.” The issue has already spent ten days in court as the society looks to keep holding horse events at the park, and fighting its eviction by the local governments.The City of Vernon and regional district are looking to use it for other recreational purposes.
