Pursuant to Section 286(2) of the Local Government Act, Notice is hereby given that the Regional District of North Okanagan intends to dispose of park lands by transferring legal ownership as noted in the Public Notice in exchange for $10.00 and other good and valuable consideration.  This transfer of ownership is part of the restructuring of the Greater Vernon Parks, Recreation and Culture Service whereby local parks will become the responsibility of the local government in whose jurisdiction the park is located. The title transfers are effective January 1, 2018.
