RCMP have identified the pedestrian who died after being hit by a car early Sunday morning in Kelowna. 23-year-old Matthew Heenan of Coldstream was struck down at about 2:30am. He died later in hospital. A west Kelowna man faces charges of dangerous and impaired driving. It happened in Kelowna's downtown area around Ellis and Water Streets where the driver of the vehicle was taken to the RCMP detachment and blew over the legal limit. The 47-year old man is set to appear in court next month to face charges of dangerous and impaired driving.
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
