Man busted with $6.5 M in cocaine

A Vernon man has been arrested after his car was discovered to be carrying millions in cocaine.
The CBC is reporting that Swift Currant RCMP pulled a car over on the Trans-Canada Highway near Waldeck, Sask., for a traffic infraction. Officers then found 151 kilograms of cocaine inside the car, worth an estimated $6.5 million. Waldeck is 225 kilometres west of Regina. RCMP have arrested a 23-year-old man from Vernon. His name was not released. Officers say charges, including possession of cocaine, are pending.
