QuickList of MP frequent freebie flyers

 OTTAWA - From Disney to Doha, MPs are lapping up free travel courtesy of foreign governments, advocacy groups and business organizations. Here's a list of the most frequent freebie flyers since 2006:
Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis: 16 trips to Bangladesh, Egypt, Cyprus, Belgium, France, China, Iraq, Greece, India, the United States, Haiti and Nigeria. Declared cost, $71,950.
Former Conservative MP John Williams: 11 trips to Albania, Germany, Serbia, England, Monaco, South Africa, the United States, Columbia, Mexico, Kuwait, Qatar and Indonesia. Declared cost, $58,590.
Former Liberal MP Bryon Wilfert: Seven trips to Germany, China, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico. Declared cost, $40,723.
Former Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla: Seven trips to India, South Africa, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Declared cost, $31,530.
Conservative MP Patrick Brown: Seven trips to Taiwan, India, Israel, Panama, Malaysia and India. Declared cost, $30,869.
Liberal MP Bob Rae: Seven trips to Israel and the Palestinian Territories, Egypt, Kenya, Nepal and the United States. Declared cost, $21,529.
Liberal MP John McCallum: Six trips to England, Taiwan, Israel, China and Kenya. Declared cost, $62,317.
New Democrat MP Paul Dewar: Six trips to Lebanon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, England, Morocco, Iraq and Qatar. Declared cost, $43,188.
Former Liberal MP Raymonde Folco: Six trips to France, Bangladesh, Egypt, Turkey and Thailand. Declared cost, $23,823.

Sponsored travel is travel the costs of which exceed $500 and are not wholly or substantially paid from the Consolidated Revenue Fund or by the Member personally, his or her political party or any interparliamentary association or friendship group recognized by the House of Commons. Members may accept, for themselves and guests, sponsored travel that arises from or relates to their position. They must, within 60 days after the end of a trip, file a statement with the Commissioner disclosing the travel.
