DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Wendy's Dreamlift Day surpasses $1 million
Wednesday's Wendy's Dreamlift Day is one to remember.  The event raised a record $114,276 at the nine Wendy's
restaurants in the Thompson-Okanagan, bringing the cumulative total to
$1.1 million since the event began in 1995. "We've done it and it's great," said Akbal Mund, with Inland Restaurants, the Wendy's franchisee. "It's truly a community event." The money will help the Sunshine Foundation of Canada
send children with severe physical disabilities or life-threatening
illnesses to Disneyland for a day. As part of this year's Dreamlift Day, Wendy Thomas,
daughter of Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, visited every restaurant in the
region. "I'm just in awe of how people will wait in line for an
hour to come to have a hamburger and be part of the whole thing of
giving back to the community. It's the foundation of its success," she
said. Look for more coverage of Wendy's Dreamlift Day in Friday's Morning Star.
