Written by Peter McIntyre 107.5 KISSFM Monday, 16 April 2012 00:23 Uses for the newest park land in Greater Vernon are still under discussion.  The regional district spent 875-thousand dollars last fall for the log cabin site next to the Kalavista Drive lagoon in Coldstream. Administrator Trafford Hall says a process to identify options will be start late this year, or next, and the public will get input. "There is no great time urgency. It's important to get it right. That's the most important thing. These are long term decisions we are making." In the meantime, Hall says the .85 acre site will be cleaned up, and evaluated for safety concerns before being made accessible to the public.
