DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Sports Complex Still Under Review
Written by Peter McIntyre Monday, 16 April 2012 00:18
There's still no word when Greater Vernon residents could be voting on a proposal for a sports complex next to Okanagan College in Coldstream. Regional district staff are looking into a referendum process for a running track and playing field on ten acres of farm land owned by the college. RDNO administrator Trafford Hall says the idea will go to the public at some point. "And if the public does not consent to that then that will change significantly both the timing of our plans, and the scope and scale of our plans, so we are working on it but I can't give the time of that referendum." The complex --first proposed in the fall of 2010-- would cost $7.8 million. The college has approval from the agricultural land commission to use ten acres of farm land for the facility.
