There will be another review of ridership on the overcrowded buses running from Vernon TO UBCO. B.C. Transit's Meribeth Burton says with the city covering about 75 percent of the cost it seems time to equalize the local cost. She says "Essentially it's being asked for the regions to look at ridership and pay for the service based on ridership in that respective region." Burton says it's a very successful service, and one Transit is keen to see continue, but with the costs better reflective of the region. Transit will do the survey work, but it's not clear if there could be an additional bus for September, as the region will have to move quickly to get that to happen.
