Four parts of Coldstream will be eligible for tax exemptions for commercial operations . Mayor Jim Garlick says it's to provide an incentive for improvements. There will be two separate bylaws, one specific to the central Coldstream area. He says " It's probably better since that plan for that area was developed around sustainability that we include that as a requirement for the tax exemption." The other areas include the Trintec property by the RDNO offices, the Ricardo Road industrial area and the old glass plant in Lavington.
