The Antwerp Springs well could again be part of Greater Vernon's water system but with restrictions. Coldstream mayor Jim Garlick says the water source that led to thousands of residents being put under a do not drink order in 2010 would only be used in case of drought. He says there'd be proper notification given customers and the well is now the subject of recertification talk with I.H.A. Garlick says in future the well could be for agricultural use only. He says "It has that possibility of being used for agricultural water alone in the future with the line separated there." The contamination case is before the courts now.
