DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

No UBCO Bus Solution
Written by Peter McIntyre 107.5 KISSFM Tuesday, 07 August 2012 04:18
There's been no solution yet to overcrowded buses taking students from Vernon to the University of BC Okanagan campus in Kelowna. That means it will likely be standing room only again for many riders when classes resume next month. Meribeth Burton from BC Transit says there may be improvements soon, but she notes it's up to local governments to add extra buses or change schedules. "Part of what's slowing down this process was determining what the local government cost sharing would be on the 90 route (to UBCO). Now that's in place, BC Transit is really hopeful we can move forward to address this problem." Burton says Transit is on side with adding more frequent trips, especially on the peak hours to better meet the demand.
