With less than a week to go before the vote, the four candidates vying for the position of Liberal nominee for the Penticton riding are all feeling confident. After B.C. Liberal MLA Bill Barisoff announced in late August that he would not be running for re-election in 2013, Connie Denesiuk, Mark Ziebarth, Janice Perrino and Dan Ashton all announced their willingness to stand for the position. On Saturday, Liberal party members will gather at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre to choose which will stand in the next election.(more)
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
