Vernon's mayor says it was a mistake---plain and simple Rob Sawatzky says that was the explanation given to officials at Predator Ridge Resort who were upset about being left out of the latest Vernon tourism guide. "It definitely was not on purpose. They are very important to our tourism, our identity, and to our visitors, them and Sparkling Hill. It would be like leaving out Silver Star," Sawatzky tells Kiss FM Sawatzky blames the omission on "the people that run the tourism process." Predator Ridge officials made a presentation about the resort's economic impact to council Monday. It had more than 26,000 overnight guests in 2011, who spent over $1.1 million on goods and services outside the resort.
