Three more support staff agreements have been reached with the BCGEU. They include Okanagan College, BCIT and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In all some two thousand staff are affected, the package is a four year one, holding to net zero in the first two years. The rest have four staged increases of one per cent over the third and fourth years. The workers include information technology, instructional assistants, administration and lab support workers, as well as library technicians, facilities and other services that support students and the institutions.
