DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Lumby threatened with legal action over flooding
By Richard Rolke - Vernon Morning Star Updated: May 16, 2013 6:46 AM
The Village of Lumby could be held responsible for ongoing flooding damage. Some residents are angered over ongoing high water levels on Duteau Creek. "We have been threatened with a lawsuit," said Mayor Kevin Acton. "People are talking class action lawsuit." While the village is the official diking authority,
Acton insists the Regional District of North Okanagan controls water
flow on Duteau Creek and if it's not taking action to alleviate
flooding, it should be held responsible. "The village has now authority over water going through the community," he said. Look for more in Friday's Morning Star.
