A serious crash has closed part of the highway on Vernon's Hospital Hill. A male pedestrian was hit by a transport truck around 12:45. Police say the victim was conscious and taken to nearby Vernon Jubilee Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries Drive BC says the highway is closed to northbound traffic with vehicles being detoured at 19th Avenue onto Mission Road and around the crash site. The estimated time of reopening is 5pm
