Left Turn Light Added At Busy Site

If you're travelling Highway 97, 32nd Street, through Vernon, there's a change to note. Left turn lights are now activated at the 39th Avenue intersection for north-south traffic. It was part of a deal between the city of Vernon and Transportation Ministry, in part to ease access to the new Visitor Info Centre on 39th. The city paid $50,000 of the cost, and the province the other $25,000.
