MLA To Give Out Grant But VJH Postponed

Liberal Eric Foster will be at the Upper Room Mission to announce a community gaming grant for the social agency on 27th Avenue. Foster had also been planning to welcome Health Minister Mike de Jong this week for an announcement on the two shelled-in floors in the Polson Tower. However, Foster says the minister's visit has been postponed due to scheduling issues. The MLA tells the Morning Star the BC government is still planning to address overcrowding at the hospital, but he's not sure when the minister may be here.
