Sturgis North & the Neskonlith Indian Band together
will host the 2013 Sturgis North Annual All Make Motorcycle Jamboree
and Music Festival outside of Salmon Arm. The announcement comes after the 2012 event was held in Spallumcheen at the MotoPlex Speedway and Event Centre. The inaugural 2011 event was presented in Salmon Arm. Neskonlith Chief Judy Wilson says that the inaugural
event was well supported and attended, and for 2013 Sturgis North will
be returning to the Shuswap area to support local businesses and provide
locals with additional business opportunities. Newly appointed Sturgis North president Joan Hansen
said this new partnership will bring many positive changes for the 2013
event which will see the event held in August next year and in a new
Shuswap location to be announced in a few weeks at which time exact
dates and ticket sales will be available online. See Friday's Morning Star for more details....
