The Council of the Corporation of the City of Vernon is seeking to fill seven (7) positions on the newly established Environmental Advisory Committee. The Committee’s objective is to provide advice and assistance to Mayor and Council in the protection, enhancement, restoration and management of the local environment and to ensure that the community is planning to provide for environmental sustainability. If you are interested in serving the community on this committee, you may pick up a copy of the Terms of Reference and a volunteer application form at Reception at City Hall.
