  • Public Input on Development Variance Permit application for Lot A, Plan 24627, (9600 Eastside Road), for Jim Radford, to not complete improvements on a portion of the upper side of Eastside Road at this time.
  • DELEGATION – MEDICAL STAFF, VERNON JUBILEE (ANSWER TO CONCERNS)
  • FURNITURE PURCHASES – 2005 (P. 51) Memo dated June 29, 2006, from B. Fehrmann, Manager, Finance, re: Response to Council request June 26 for reporting on furniture purchases in 2005.
  • P.81 THAT Council support the recommendation from the Finance Committee that the Coldstream Hotel parking area be paved and lined, with funding in the amount of $84,880.00, to come from the Land Sale Reserve Fund.
  • PROPOSED CITY OF VERNON HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM (P. 91)
  • PRIVATE SANITARY SEWER WORKS – CITY FUNDING PROPOSAL (P. 123)
    THAT Council not fund the purchase, connection and O&M of private sewer lift/grinder pumps required to connect to the City’s sanitary sewer mains and that the City maintain existing Policies and Bylaws and utilize Local Specified Area (LSA) bylaws to provide services to those areas at the cost to the beneficiaries; AND FURTHER, that Council continue to offer the Sanitary Sewer Financing Option to property owners that meet the terms and conditions outlined on Attachment 1.; AND FURTHER, that staff revisit Council’s resolution of September 23rd, 2002 to work with Okanagan Landing residents in order to establish LSA’s for sanitary sewer servicing.
  • ELLISON PARKWAY MULTI-USE PATH – ALIGNMENT APPROVAL BY COUNCIL Correspondence received regarding the Ellison Parkway Multi-Use Path, for information (P. 151)
  • THAT Bylaw #5022, “City of Vernon Athletic Commission Amendment Bylaw Number 5022, 2006” – a bylaw to amend the “City of Vernon Athletic Commission Bylaw Number 4910, 2005” to clarify the powers of the Athletic Commission, be read a first, second and third time. (P. 213)
  • Letter dated June 13, 2006, from Mayor Ken McRae, City of Port Albernie re: Proposal by the Compensation Council – Limitations to Tax Class 4 Industrial Lands. (P. 221)
