It looks like a Vernon brewery will soon be owned by a Japanese company.Sapporo Breweries of Japan has reached a friendly deal to acquire Sleeman Breweries, Canada's third biggest beermaker, worth $400 million.Sleeman has owned Vernon based Okanagan Spring Brewery since 1996.Sleeman put itself up for sale earlier this year and had been weighing offers for the company.The Sleeman board including chairman and CEO John Sleeman, have urged shareholders to accept the offer.If the sale is
