Okanagan travellers are adjusting to new security measures imposed at airports across the country as a result of the British terror probe.Dave Fuller, assistant manager of the Kelowna Airport, tells KISS FM, passengers boarding any commercial flight in Canada have to remove all liquids or gels from their carry-on luggage."You can not carry any canned or bottled beverages (including coffee or water). You can't take through shampoo, suntan lotions, creams, toothpaste--anything that is a liquid or a gel. What we're asking is before people come to the airport, put those items into your check luggage because check baggage isn't subject to those conditions."The only exceptions are bottled milk or juice for babies, and prescription medicine.Fuller says people have been very co-operative with the new rules so far, adding the airport is providing an information handout to all passengers.
