Greyhound Bus Stolen Enderby

Enderby RCMP News Release Shortly after 8:00 am today, Enderby RCMP received a report of a Greyhound Bus, traveling through residential neighborhoods, acting suspiciously. Updated sightings of the bus indicated that it traveled north on Highway 97A from Enderby. Patrols on the highway were unable to locate the bus. Greyhound Bus lines were contacted, and advised that the bus should have been parked at their depot in Kelowna. Greyhound had not yet noticed it missing. Continued patrols within the town of Enderby located the bus, traveling south on a residential street. The operator of the bus quickly abandon the vehicle and fled into the neighborhood. Patrols for the suspect were made, but were unable to locate the suspect. A police dog unit responded from Vernon, along with the RCMP Helicopter from Kelowna. A ground and aerial search of the area was conducted, however the suspect was not located. Witnesses described the suspect as a male in his mid to late 20's, average height, thin build, wearing dark clothing.
