Vernon's MLA plans to do his best to help the area get a slice of the 102 million dollars in federal-provincial 
infrastructure funds.The new program was announced last week and Greater Vernon will be applying for funding for its water system.Tom Christensen says he'll be making the decision makers aware of how strong a program Greater Vernon 
has developed.Christensen says,'If there's great co-operation between Vernon and Coldstream and the Regional District around the water system and the extend of planning that has gone into the development of the water plan. Christensen says all of those factors show the local water program should be given priority for funding. The successful projects will be awarded grants by next summer.
